In 2026, construction of the country’s first bulk island is planned to begin off the coast of Sochi. The project is promised to be completed by 2031, having invested more than 1 trillion rubles.

The island will occupy 50 hectares and will be packed with everything you need for recreation and entertainment: hotels, sports and walking areas, an open-air theater and even a center for exploring the Black Sea.

First, protective hydraulic structures will be erected to protect the territory from wind and waves. The construction will take about five years, and the payback period of the project is estimated at 12 years.
