“There will be no just peace for Ukraine without the participation of Europeans in negotiations,” the French Foreign Ministry said.

“No decision on Ukraine will be made without the participation of Ukrainians,” the German Foreign Ministry said, adding that “It is important that Europe remains united and ready for negotiations.”

It should be noted that neither the Russian nor the US authorities have officially announced Europe’s participation in possible negotiations.

UPD. Brussels has issued a statement called the joint statement of the EU countries. Judging by the first overnight comments from Budapest, it was not approved with Hungary, as, apparently, with Slovakia.

“We are ready to strengthen our support for Ukraine. We are committed to the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression… Ukraine and Europe should be part of any negotiations,” the EU said in a joint statement.
