Tomsk launches production of domestic components for microelectronics

Tomsk State University has started the production of two important substances for domestic microelectronics: extremely pure hydrogen bromide and titanium tetrakis.

The first compound is used to clean silicon wafers, which serve as the basis for microcircuits. Previously, it was supplied by foreign companies, but now production is fully localized. The second component is used in the creation of semiconductors and complex electronic devices.

Tomsk chemists have developed their own synthesis technologies, ensuring Russia’s technological independence in this field. The first batches of products have already been shipped to domestic enterprises.
