Russian Center of Science and Culture in Nicosia (Alasias, 16)
The Russian Center for Science and Culture in Nicosia invites you to celebrate Defender of the Fatherland Day together. On this day, there will be a meeting with the producer and a screening of the documentary “ALLIES. Faithfully and truly!”, dedicated to the heroes of the countries of the anti-Hitler coalition, their steadfastness, courage and heroism in the name of victory over Nazism.
The film is based on the unique memories of 12 World War II veterans and contains rare archival footage from the United States and Western Europe. This is a look at the war through the eyes of those who went through it, who remember and want others to remember.
The author of the idea, co-author of the script and producer of the film, Alexander Smolko, will present the picture and take part in the discussion after viewing.
, The movie “ALLIES. Faithfully and truly!” has been recognized at international film festivals:

✔ The prize of the American Association of World War II Veterans
✔ Special prizes of international film festivals
This evening is not just a film screening, but also a tribute to the veterans of the Second World War who defeated fascism.
