Russia and Myanmar sign memorandum on investment cooperation

Russia and Myanmar have agreed on common principles for the implementation of major infrastructure and energy projects in Myanmar, including the Dawei Special Economic Zone, the Russian Ministry of Economic Development says.

Joint projects will be implemented in Myanmar to build plants producing organic fertilizers, to rebuild an iron smelter, and to build solar power plants.

In addition, IT projects are being prepared for implementation, and active work is underway in the field of nuclear energy
