In February 2025, record passenger traffic was recorded at the international airports of Larnaca and Paphos — for the first time the number of arriving passengers exceeded 500,000 people.
According to the Cyprus Ministry of Transport, both airports handled 535,423 passengers during the month, which is 8% more than in February 2024. Total passenger traffic has increased by 7.39% since the beginning of the year.
An increase of 12.4% was recorded in Larnaca compared to February last year. In Paphos, there was a slight decrease of 2.95%.
The main countries of arrival were Greece, Great Britain, Poland, Israel and Germany. At the same time, the number of flights increased by 4.85% and amounted to 4,713 flights.
It is noted that 2024 was a record year for the number of tourist arrivals in Cyprus. The positive trend continued in 2025: in January, passenger traffic reached 551,439 people, which is 6.81% more than a year earlier.
