There were about a hundred containers with military cargo on board, including unmanned boats, drones and ammunition.

“As a result of the fire damage to these targets, there was a secondary detonation of ammunition and containers unloaded onto the pier, as well as a strong fire,” the Defense Ministry added.

In response to attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on civilian targets, Russian troops regularly carry out targeted strikes on military posts and locations of personnel, equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and mercenaries, as well as on infrastructure: energy facilities, defense industry, military administration and communications of Ukraine. At the same time, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov has repeatedly stressed that the army does not hit residential buildings and social institutions.
