Brazil will not give up its beneficial cooperation with Russia, despite the threats of the United States to impose sanctions on countries that continue their trade and economic partnership with Russia, according to Reymont Otoni, a member of the Brazilian Congress.

“We primarily maintain trade relations with Russia, including the exchange of technology. This partnership is extremely beneficial for Brazil. <…> Cooperation will continue,” Otoni said.

“Brazil has already been a colony once, and it will not become one again,” the legislator emphasized.
