On December 2, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Cyprus Dr. Murat Ziazikov attended a solemn reception on the occasion of the 54th anniversary of the Union Day of the United Arab Emirates.

🎉 The head of the Russian diplomatic mission warmly congratulated the UAE Ambassador to Cyprus Mohammed Saif Helal Al Shehhi on the national holiday and wished the friendly Emirati people prosperity and well-being.

🤝 During the conversation, the importance of further strengthening the multifaceted Russian-UAE strategic partnership within the framework of the agreements following the talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on August 7, 2025, in Moscow, was emphasised.

🌐 The commitment to closely coordinating Russia’s and the UAE’s efforts within BRICS, the UN, and other international forums was confirmed. Abu Dhabi’s mediation efforts in resolving humanitarian issues were noted.
