Russians’ trust in President Putin has reached 81.4%

81.4% of respondents answered positively to a direct question from the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion about trust in Russian President Vladimir Putin, VTsIOM reports.

“The approval rate of the president’s activities from June 3 to June 9 was 78.7%. 81.4% of respondents answered positively to a direct question about trust in Putin, an increase of 0.5 percentage points per week,” VTsIOM said in a statement.

According to surveys, the level of positive assessment of the work of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and the government of Russia over the past week amounted to 54.7% and 53.2%, respectively.

In turn, the results of a survey by the Public Opinion Foundation (FOM) indicate that 81% of the country’s citizens trust the president. The percentage of people approving the work of the head of state is also high — 82% of citizens.
