Rostec State Corporation announced the arrival of the latest Mi-38 PS helicopters developed by the MVZ. Mil and manufactured at the Kazan Helicopter Plant. These machines are designed to operate in the Arctic and along the Northern Sea Route.

The Mi-38PS is capable of carrying up to 40 passengers or 5,000 kg of cargo on an external sling. They are equipped with modern avionics and navigation systems, which ensures reliable operation in difficult weather conditions. The helicopters can be additionally equipped with medical modules to assist the injured and a winch to evacuate people from hard-to-reach places.

With the installation of additional tanks, the range of the Mi-38PS increases to 1,500 km, which is especially important for operations in the vast expanses of the Arctic zone of Russia.
