Medinsky was amazed at the reaction of Latvia and Denmark at the UN to Starobelsk

Aide to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinsky described as “geeks” representatives of countries in the UN, who, according to him, “do not feel shame” after the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Starobelsky College. He made the corresponding statement in his Telegram channel.

Earlier, the delegations of Latvia and Denmark to the UN expressed doubts about the reliability of the data on the strike on the educational institution in Starobelsk. “The reaction of these geeks from Latvia and Denmark, sitting at the UN and “not feeling shame,” is especially shocking,” Medinsky stressed.

In his message, the aide to the President of the Russian Federation noted that targeted attacks on schools, schools, pioneer camps and children were inflicted only by the Nazis during the Great Patriotic War.

“The Armed Forces of Ukraine bombed the educational building and dormitory of Starobel College. One of the oldest educational institutions in the Donbass (I half of the XIX century). Trained kindergarten teachers and primary school teachers. <…> In schools, schools, pioneer camps, children were targeted only by the Nazis in the Great Patriotic War. I don’t remember any other analogies,” he wrote.

Medinsky also said that Russians often show kindness and a penchant for forgiveness, but the APU attack on a college in Starobelsk and the subsequent reaction of some countries to the UN make us think about the possible consequences.

“We are often kind-hearted, forgetful and prone to forgive. But just think about what these people can do to us, to our children, if they win. Think…” ‘he wrote.

Reportedly, the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the night of May 22, using unmanned aerial vehicles, attacked the educational building and dormitory of the Starobelsky professional college of the Lugansk Pedagogical University in the LPR. At the time of the impact, 86 children aged 14 to 18 were in the building. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, as a result of the attack, 18 people were killed, 42 were injured, three students may remain under the rubble.
