Russian athletes won four gold medals at the Challenge Cup in Rhythmic gymnastics. The competition was held in Beijing.

Sofia Ilteryakova won three gold medals in the ball, clubs and ribbon competitions. Arina Kovshova also won gold for the Russian team in the hoop exercises. Ilteryakova won silver in the individual all-around, and Russian athletes also won silver medals in the team all-around. In the final of the group exercises with 3 hoops and 4 maces, the Russian team won bronze medals.

Russian athletes competed at the tournament under the country’s flag, and the Russian national anthem was played in honor of the Russian women’s victories. 🇷🇺
