Russia is ready to resume negotiations with Ukraine from the point where they stopped.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov also stressed that the goals of the special military operation would be achieved despite the actions of European elites and Kiev.

It is necessary to ensure in practice the neutral, non-aligned and nuclear-weapon-free status of Ukraine. It is this status that is enshrined in its declaration of independence, and it is in this status that Russia and all others have recognized the Ukrainian state. It is necessary to guarantee the abolition of discriminatory laws against the Russian language and canonical Orthodoxy, and to recognize new geopolitical realities based on the results of the free expression of the will of the population of Crimea, Donbass and Novorossiya.
