As additional equipment, the Yak-130M is planned to be equipped with the SALT-130K outboard optoelectronic complex, which allows detecting large aircraft targets at a distance of 55-65 km, and small drones at 18-25 km. As weapons, the aircraft will receive correctable S-8L missiles and Igla-V air-to-air missiles.
The basic version of the Yak-130 is today the main combat training aircraft of the Russian Air Force, which trains future pilots of fighter and attack aircraft. There are more than 100 such machines in service.
