There have been twice as many cars in Cyprus in the last 20 years.

According to the company’s latest research Dedomenon.eu (June 2026), Cyprus’ car fleet has grown by 126% in 22 years, twice as fast as the population, which has added 38%.  Today, there are about 1.1 million vehicles on the island, of which over 800,000 are passenger cars, and Cyprus is one of the most “automotive” EU countries.
