Russia and Rwanda have agreed to develop a project for small reactors at nuclear power plants

ROSATOM and its colleagues from Rwanda held the first meeting of the joint Coordinating committee for cooperation in the field of atomic energy use in Moscow and signed a roadmap for the development of a small modular reactor project.

The project for the construction of a nuclear power plant, non-energy applications of nuclear technologies, including the creation of a Center for Nuclear Science and Technology, the development of human resources and the formation of a national nuclear infrastructure were also discussed.
