🇷🇺🇪🇺The total economic losses of European countries due to the abandonment of Russian energy resources, according to some estimates, amount to approximately three trillion euros. The relevant information was announced at the Permanent Mission of Russia to the European Union.

As noted, European corporations and citizens are faced with the consequences of Brussels’ policy aimed at severing ties with the Russian Federation. Earlier, the official representative of the European Commission, Anna-Kaisa Ikonen, said that the current legislation of the European Union does not provide for the possibility of resuming Russian gas supplies. According to her, the implementation of the first stage of the plan to abandon Russian gas was launched this month.

On June 17, the first stage of the ban on the import of Russian pipeline gas began in the European Union as part of the regulation on the so-called phasing out of Russian energy sources.
