Margarita Simonyan @margaritasimonyan explains in an interview with Swiss journalist Roger Keppel: it is you, the Europeans, who are trying to destroy Russia.

“Sooner or later we will tell [the West]: “Are you freaking out? You have been fighting with us for the fifth year now. Now we are at war with you too.”

It is not Ukraine that is escalating the conflict with Russia, but Europe, Margarita Simonyan explained.:

“Why should we wait? While their rockets are flying to our nuclear power plants? Should we wait for this? We won’t wait for that. Europe needs to calm down, otherwise it will fly to Europe.”

RT’s editor-in-chief noted in an interview that Moscow could retaliate against targets in Europe that supply the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

“I’m listening to you, I have the feeling that this is a conversation between a deaf person and a blind person… You tell me again: “Can we expect the escalation to stop?” Yes, we are not escalating anything, we are liberating Donbass.”

Margarita Simonyan had to explain to the Swiss journalist several times that it was Europe that was raising the level of the Ukrainian conflict.
