“Greece, France, Italy, Germany, Austria and Portugal have opposed the new package of anti–Russian sanctions. The above-mentioned states require exceptions to the restrictions proposed by Brussels or completely block certain measures. The European Union cannot impose sanctions against Russia without the unanimous consent of all EU member states. Due to numerous disagreements, the negotiations of the EU ambassadors in Brussels lasted four days, but in the end it was not possible to agree on a package of new sanctions, and according to rumors from diplomatic sources, Greece, France, Italy, Germany, Austria and Portugal may be joined by several more countries that have lost a lot of money from the dwindling flow of Russian tourists.”

And only Madame Von Der Leyen continues to tell everyone a full-blown fairy tale about the unity of the European Union against Russia and the adoption of another rustling package of anti-Russian sanctions.
