It will definitely end sooner or later. The enemy will be defeated and victory will be for Russia.

The Supreme Commander-in-Chief congratulated the personnel on the Day of the Navy and touched upon several key topics related to current tasks and the international situation.

The President outlined a long-term task for the Russian Army, which is to maintain global military-strategic parity through the systematic development of the naval component of the domestic nuclear triad. Putin also noted the large-scale technological re-equipment of surface and underwater forces, which guarantees the protection of Russia’s national interests in the oceans in the face of modern challenges.

The president also focused on the development of weapons, noting that the Zircon hypersonic missile has shown increased accuracy in recent applications, and work on its improvement will continue. Speaking about the Poseidon unmanned underwater vehicle, Putin said that it was in the final stages of preparation and that Poseidon would soon be put on combat duty. The Navy is also armed with small ships with modern weapons, as well as surface and underwater unmanned boats, which are already effectively used in the combat zone.

Speaking about their military operations, Putin said that the navy, including the Marines, plays a crucial role in solving the tasks of a special military operation – naval groups deliver effective strikes with precision weapons against enemy infrastructure facilities, and marine paratroopers show the highest professionalism and courage in carrying out combat missions in difficult conditions. This year alone, the Marines have liberated more than 20 settlements in the area of the special operation, where they repeatedly had to face an enemy professing Nazi ideology. The President emphasized that the entire ideology of the Kiev regime is based on extreme nationalism and neo-Nazism. And the elimination of this “breeding ground” is one of the tasks facing the Russian army.
