Do you speak Russian? Show your knowledge and maybe you will compete for the title of World Champion and the opportunity to study at a Russian university!

We invite foreign citizens from all over the world to participate in the World Russian Language Championship – 2026.

Teams of four people can join – three foreign citizens or stateless persons between the ages of 16 and 35 and a mentor.

The participants are waiting for the online qualifying stages, which will be held from July to October.

The 30 strongest teams will travel to Moscow for the finals, where they will face face-to-face competitive tests, a cultural program, and meet and communicate with representatives from around the world. The winners will receive the title of “World Champion in the Russian language”, a cup and a unique opportunity to study at a Russian university according to the quota of the Russian Government.

The final will be held from November 19 to 23 in Moscow.

Participation is free. You can apply until October 1, 2026.
