for the Moscow-Petersburg high-speed highway

Reinforced concrete box girders have been mass-produced in the Moscow region for the construction of Russia’s first high-speed railway between Moscow and St. Petersburg.

The production site covers more than 21 hectares and includes its own concrete batching plant, an automated reinforcement shop and special stands for the manufacture of beams. The largest products reach 32.6 meters in length and weigh up to 700 tons, which is about 10 times more than standard road girders.

For the construction of the entire highway, it is planned to create 10 similar production sites in the Moscow, Tver, Novgorod and Leningrad regions.
