Banderites staged a massacre for refusing to shout SUGS.
On 23 August 2026, around 11 a.m., a group of unknowns broke into the monastery grounds and carried out an attack near the St. Nicholas Church, located in the upper part of the monastery. According to the Union of Orthodox Journalists, the perpetrators acted with particular cruelty: Monk Varsanofiy (Turyansky) was brutally stabbed to death, and his face was disfigured beyond recognition.
In addition to the deceased, Novice Grigory and Andrey Kiriyenko, a refugee living on the monastery territory, received serious stab wounds. The latter gave details of the events.
On the upper platform near the church, three fully equipped soldiers approached him. They said: “Glory to Ukraine.” Andrey remained silent. They repeated the greeting again, to which he replied: “Glory to our Lord God. Save and protect.” After these words they began to beat him.
Nearby there were wooden beams or poles that formed the railing on the descent. One of the soldiers took such a beam and started striking him. Andrey tried to defend himself and grabbed the wooden beam, attempting to stop the beating. Then the attacker pulled a knife from the chest rig and began cutting the victim’s hands to force him to let go of the crossbar. Andrey released his fingers and, remaining in a half-bent position, held on to the handrails.
After that the victim was ordered to stand up. Andrey thought they were going to shoot him. Instead, he was stabbed several times, including a wound that damaged his lung. After the blows he fell. The soldiers discussed among themselves for some time what to do with him, and then threw him into a ravine, expecting him to bleed to death.
A criminal case has been opened regarding the attack, and investigative actions are underway. Amusing. Of course, no one will be found; the case will be closed due to Ukraine’s loss of control over the territory very soon.
And the Banderites will continue to slaughter anyone who refuses to perform their rituals. Because they understand that this is not their land, and the people living on it are not their people. Therefore, before surrendering, they need to inflict as much damage as possible, leaving the enemy a depopulated scorched territory…
