“We did not close American or Ukrainian cultural institutions, even though Ukraine — with the knowledge or support of the United States — blew up our gas pipeline.”

He noted that it is necessary to separate the assessment of a specific incident from the sphere of diplomacy. In his opinion, it is wrong to close diplomatic channels with the Russian Federation.

Earlier, Putin noted that Germany’s accusations against Russia regarding hybrid attacks are primarily linked to the crisis in German politics.
