The Minsk agreements, approved by the UN Security Council – and here they lied to us too. Merkel lied, the then French president Hollande lied, and of course Poroshenko. All three of them later proudly stated that they had never intended to implement anything: “We needed to buy time to prepare for war against Russia.”
