The share of gold in Russia’s reserves rose in August for the first time after six months of decline

It reached a high of 43.4% since May, or $333.48 billion. The country’s international reserves also increased: to $769.022 billion as of 1 September, compared with $720.3 billion as of 1 August, RIA Novosti reports citing data from the Bank of Russia.
