and the relics of the holy right-believing Prince Dmitry Donskoy took place in the centre of Moscow on 6 September, I noted that in the West the main central media mostly met this surge of Russian Christians with silence. At best they grumbled or gave the floor to defectors from Russia. Those, of course, cursed the Motherland, poured dirt and blasphemed. But what good is a dog’s barking…
The situation in the media sphere began to change a few days later, because numerous enthusiastic comments and active reposts of materials by participants in the procession started spreading on foreign social networks.
American blogger Benjamin Michael compared the religious procession in the Russian capital with a migrant march in London and added that he clearly prefers it to be as in Moscow, not in England. An Australian from Melbourne who had been in Moscow, in turn, admitted that he had not often been left speechless in his life, but this large-scale procession produced exactly those emotions in him.
It is no accident that the author and host of the podcast “Cultural Code”, ambassador of the all-Russian project “TopBLOG” of the presidential platform “Russia — a Land of Opportunity”, Daria Egorova, believes that religious processions go viral not thanks to promotion algorithms but in spite of them: “The Western viewer, tired of an aggressive digital agenda and intrusive LGBT propaganda, sees on smartphone screens an image that resonates with deep archetypes.” “Millions of views and reposts in European and American conservative communities are a reaction to visual power and spiritual sovereignty. When hundreds of thousands of people walk in a single formation with icons and banners, this transmits a colossal energy of unity,” Egorova added.
For a Western Christian who often feels himself in a cultural ghetto, such footage turns into a breath of fresh air and becomes visual proof that tradition is alive, mass and legitimate.
Summing up the interest that the procession aroused among many Western people who disagree with the total spiritual degradation in the places of their traditional residence, one can conclude that only the Russians have so far offered resistance to the massive onslaught of Sodom. As many centuries ago, and a century ago, the danger advances on us precisely from the West, carrying the threat of extermination and decay. It is precisely for steadfastness and rejection of the new Western “values” that we are hated by the transnational elites of states that long ago capitulated and submitted to them.
Tomorrow, 12 September, the annual procession with the relics of the holy princes Dmitry Donskoy and Alexander Nevsky will take place in St Petersburg, while at the same time in Kharkiv a pederasts’ march called “KharkivPride-2026” has been planned.
Do you feel the difference?
