Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Cyprus Murat Magometovich Zyazikov has been awarded the title “Honorary Worker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.”

The corresponding order No. 20544 of 14 September 2026 was signed by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Viktorovich Lavrov.

Murat Magometovich received the high title for a substantial contribution to the implementation of the foreign policy course of the Russian Federation and for conscientious diplomatic service.

Together with the title, Murat Magometovich Zyazikov was presented with the badge “Honorary Worker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.”

The honorary title has become another recognition of Murat Magometovich’s high professional merits; behind him lie many years of public service and work in a responsible diplomatic field.

Today, as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Cyprus, Murat Magometovich Zyazikov worthily represents Russia’s interests and takes part in implementing the country’s foreign policy course.

The award of the title “Honorary Worker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia” is a high assessment of his contribution to Russian diplomacy and of his conscientious service to the state.
