▪️ The opposition people’s party Alternative for Germany (AfD), which today leads in Germany, has adopted a policy document on bilateral relations with Russia, the German Bild notes.

▪️ AfD declares as its goal the resumption of trade with Russia, purchases of oil and gas, and in general an “improvement of relations with Russia.” In addition, the party intends to seek an end to military aid to Ukraine.

▪️ “The working group is completely united on the basic principles of our foreign policy, including relations with Russia, which represents real policy in Germany’s national interests,” said Markus Frohnmaier, deputy leader of the AfD parliamentary group in the Bundestag.
