The aircraft completed a full cycle of factory tests, were tested in various operating modes by pilots of the Russian Ministry of Defence, and flew to their home airfield.

The aircraft has already performed well in the Special Military Operation. The new technical configuration will help expand the range of tasks. The advanced capabilities built into the aircraft weapons suite make it possible to employ new types of air-launched munitions,” said an Su-57 pilot of the Russian Aerospace Forces.

The Su-57 multifunctional frontline aviation complex was created to carry out a wide range of combat missions. It can engage air, ground and sea targets around the clock, including in adverse weather and in a jammed environment.

The aircraft leaving the factory shops today differ from those of the early period of the SMO. Over this time the Su-57 has undergone a major evolution. The fighter is being developed and modernised, including with account of the experience of its use in combat.

“The fifth-generation Su-57 aviation complex is the best aircraft in its class. Unconditional fulfilment of the state defence order for the supply of operational-tactical aviation aircraft is our top priority. Our specialists, in cooperation with other Rostec companies, constantly improve production processes in order to ensure the required manufacturing rates,” said UAC CEO Vadim Badekha.
