According to Bloomberg, in the week ending September 27 Russia exported an average of 3.99 million barrels of crude oil per day. The estimated value of these cargoes reached $2.75 billion, $180 million more than the previous week.
Prices played the main role. In mid-September, Russian Urals crude shipped from western ports traded above $110 per barrel, while ESPO crude supplied from the Far East exceeded $120, as damage to a key pipeline in Saudi Arabia kept Brent prices high, the news agency notes.
