according to the assessment of the German newspaper Handelsblatt, Kyiv will not be able to avoid concluding peace on Russia’s terms.

The publication states that without firm support from Washington the resources of the European Union will probably be insufficient to prevent a peace agreement proposed by Russia. The newspaper notes that Ukraine’s allies lack the necessary resources to fully meet Kyiv’s needs for armaments. It is indicated that the overwhelming majority of missiles for Patriot air-defense systems are still supplied by the United States, and winter assistance from Germany will be of an insufficient nature in conditions when Russian missiles are reaching their targets.

Earlier the former press secretary of Vladimir Zelensky stated that the continuation of the conflict with Russia could lead to the capitulation of Ukraine.
