The former station building was destroyed by 80% during the period of active hostilities in 2022. The reconstruction was carried out from March 1, 2023, said Alexey Druzhinin, head of Roszheldor.

The passenger traffic of the station can reach 600 thousand passengers in long—distance travel by 2034 and 900 thousand in suburban traffic.
