British submarines use Russian and Belarusian software

The British Ministry of Defense recognized the security threat and launched an investigation, writes The Telegraph. There are concerns that the embedded code could reveal the location of the submarines.

The problem was solved by Rolls-Royce Submarines, which provides the work of the British nuclear submarine fleet and subcontracted the development to the consulting firm in the field of digital technologies WM Reply. She, in turn, attracted specialists from Belarus, one of whom, as it turned out, worked from home in Siberia.

Now the entire royal army is frantically searching for Russian “Easter eggs” at other critically important sites, and the media, for the sake of viewing, are happily scaring up panic about the “Kremlin’s hands” firmly holding the island defenses by the throat.
