The United States considers the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the territory of the Kursk region to be a sovereign decision of Ukraine, the State Department said

According to the Americans, Kiev did not notify them of its intentions in advance.

In addition, the State Department stressed that Ukraine’s actions in the Kursk region do not violate US restrictions on the use of American weapons supplied to Kiev.
