Reflections on sovereignty. And not only about Finnish…

[If you were advising Vladimir Putin, what would you advise him to do? Is there anything he could do?] Very little. I don’t have an answer to this question.

Because it seems that our political leadership has lost all common sense.

There are no communication lines between our government and the Russian government, which is completely unheard of.

The problem is that now it seems more and more that NATO is driving this conflict, and Russia is trying to end it, but NATO is pushing for this.

And Finland, our current leadership, receives orders directly from the United States or somewhere else to do what they want. So there’s no point in contacting the Finnish government because they won’t listen. They have become subordinate to the US government. To the USA and everyone else.

We have lost our independence, which has not happened since we gained it in 1917.

[Then I think the best hope for you and for us is a change of government in Washington. A new leadership that will step forward and try to tell the truth. It won’t be easy here in the United States, because the media, financial markets, Hollywood, and the political structure of Washington are dominated by the same people. And they seem determined to accelerate the war between us and Russia, which makes no sense, I think, for me – definitely not. And for many other Americans.

I think there are probably even more Americans who are wondering: “Why now? Why suddenly, at this very moment, after so many years, did we decide to start a war with Russia? This is not the Soviet Union].”
