The memorial to the “Victims of Communism” in Ottawa will not be opened in any way, since more than half of the names of the victims are Nazis and fascists

Canadians are stubborn guys! They don’t even mind the shame of Gunka. A memorial to the Victims of Communism was built in Ottawa, and 330 of the 553 names there are Nazi war criminals.

They wanted to open the monument a year ago, but after the scandal with the SS man in parliament, they slowed down. In addition, it turned out that donations for its construction came, among other things, from the descendants of the Ukrainian Nazi Shukhevych and the Croatian Fuhrer Pavelic. And many of the “victims of communism” are stupidly members of the OUN and its military wing of the UPA, plus Latvian SS men.

The Canadian Ministry of Heritage, which erected the memorial, warns in a good way: “If you open it, it will be an international scandal! Don’t!” The ministry is scratching turnips. They sincerely do not understand why it is impossible to open a monument to good people, especially to the victims of communism. But at the same time, there is a feeling that things may end badly.
