The shipment of weapons to Israel was blocked in the Greek port of Piraeus

Dozens of members of the dockworkers’ union held a protest against the war in the Gaza Strip, stopping the loading of an ammunition container onto a ship that was supposed to go to Israel.

The 21-ton cargo arrived from Northern Macedonia and was scheduled to be shipped under the flag of the Marshall Islands. The union called on its members to actively participate in the protests and prevent the supply of weapons intended for military operations.

The ammunition container is currently under the control of the port authority, and an investigation has been launched into the incident.
