White Nights Fever

Dostoevsky’s book “White Nights”, which became popular thanks to Tik Tok, was sold out in Britain, The Guardian reports. Social media users started reading it so often that the book became one of the best-selling translated works in the UK.

TikTok users post their reviews, share the experiences they have had with the work, and atmospheric shots of the book to the music of Russian composers.

The popularity of Dostoevsky’s story was singled out as a separate phenomenon and called the “White Nights fever.” It’s nice to realize that the “abolition of culture” is just a media non—working construct that has nothing to do with the real situation and preferences of interested and thinking people, regardless of their nationality.
