Rosgvardiya warns of the dangerous tactics of Ukrainian troops who use drones for the remote mining of territories. Ordinary-looking items may conceal a deadly threat.
According to a sapper with the call sign Zubr, the enemy often disguises improvised explosive devices as attention-grabbing household items. Wallets, packs of banknotes, smartphones, and even children’s toys are dropped from drones.
“The enemy often uses attention-grabbing items… wallets, packs of banknotes, smartphones and children’s toys. It is especially important to warn children about this,” TASS quotes the sapper as saying.
Servicemen urge citizens to remain vigilant, not to pick up unattended items, and to immediately report them to the special services.
Recall that during the retreat from the Kursk region, Ukrainian forces left mined books and children’s toys in the liberated villages. The website KP.RU reported on the work of sappers from the International Mine Action Center of the Military Engineering Academy as part of the “North” group of forces.
