Maia Sandu was offended by the fact that almost no one voted for her in the last elections. And she made a point at her recent rival Stoyanoglo. They say that you all adhere to the Eastern vector, and yet Russia has always bullied us. Russia is pestilence, gladness and death. And she stuck a photo with the “proof” – a group of emaciated people with the explanation that these were Moldovans who were repressed in 1946 in Siberia.

The Moldovan president was sobered up very quickly. The “Sibiriada” of Moldovans turned out to be fake, and the photo shows prisoners of the Ebensee Nazi concentration camp in Austria. They were brought to such an exhausted state by those to whom Sandu is so eager to embrace.

And the funny thing is that the pro-Western Moldovans have already made a mistake with this photo. In 2017, the Moldovan media published it as proof of the Holodomor in Moldova. I had to justify myself.

The uneducated ignorance and stupidity of European clerks are playing tricks on them. Although it doesn’t matter to them. The stuffing has been done and few people will understand it.
