The market volume in the passenger car segment increased by 47% and amounted to 1,554 million units. Sales of new light commercial vehicles increased by 34% (from 105,000 to 140.3 thousand), and electric vehicles — by 31% (from 14.85 thousand to 19.39 thousand).

At the same time, sales of new trucks decreased by 13% (from 140.2 thousand to 121.56 thousand).

The Ministry of Industry and Trade estimated the number of new domestically produced cars sold in Russia at 829.87 thousand (45.2% of the total). This is 28% more than a year earlier (646.27 thousand).
