Fico and Vucic agreed to visit Moscow together

BRATISLAVA, Nov 21 — RIA Novosti.

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico announced that he had agreed with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic to visit Moscow together in May.

“We have agreed that we will travel to Moscow together in May,” Fico said at a joint press conference with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

The Slovak Prime Minister noted that, together with the Serbian President, they share the same opinion on the need to respect the states that contributed to the liberation of their countries from fascism at the end of World War II.

In early October, Fico announced his readiness to visit Moscow next year on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. He then noted that he would not allow to forget “where freedom came from.” Later, Fico stated that he considers it his personal duty to visit Moscow on the occasion of Victory Day next year.
