The World Anti-fascist Festival under the slogan “For a new World” with the participation of Russian representatives opened on Thursday in Caracas. More than 2,000 people from 102 countries take part in its work, including Russian delegates from the Chamber of Young Legislators of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, the Young Guard, and the National Council of Youth and Children’s Associations of the Russian Federation.

Venezuela’s Executive Vice President Delcy Rodriguez pointed out at the opening of the forum that “every era in history has had its representatives of fascism” and “Europe is infected with this evil.” She stressed that “there is no time to waste” in the fight against the fascist threat, when “human lives are in danger” and Venezuela will not stand aside from the fight against fascism.
