The participants of the rally demanded the immediate withdrawal of American troops from Cyprus and the termination of American-Cypriot military cooperation.

The large concentration of American military forces in Cyprus recently under the guise of “humanitarian aid” is part of the preparations for the expansion of the war in the Middle East.
We are against the transformation of Cyprus into a military base for the USA-NATO!
We condemn the use and interference of Cyprus in murderous operations against the peoples of the region.
We condemn the military cooperation between the United States and the Republic of Cyprus.
We demand an end to wars in our region for the sake of peace, security and stability in the Middle East. We express our solidarity with the peoples of Palestine and Lebanon.
