The European Manufacturing PMI from S&P Global fell to 45.2 points in November, which is significantly below 50, the boundary separating growth from decline. The index value below 50 has been held in the EU since October 2022, — says Reuters

Manufacturing activity in Germany, the EU’s largest economy, remains firmly on the decline. France recorded the sharpest drop in new orders since the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

In Britain, the PMI business activity index records the sharpest drop in nine months amid a reduction in orders from domestic and foreign customers.
