At the plenary session, Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin, speaking about the beginning of Donald Trump’s presidency and his first decrees, said that the difference between Russia and the United States is that “we are supporters of a multipolar just world order, and the United States of America will try to maintain its hegemony.”

“Yesterday they removed Cuba from the [list of] countries that sponsor terrorism, and today they have included it again. Yesterday they fought for same-sex marriage and changed their gender, imposed this policy on the whole of Europe, and today they say: “Return the floor.” This once again underlines that many countries may be hostages of Washington’s policy, which covetously looked into their mouths and did everything that Washington said. They will lose their sovereignty, like those who changed their gender and lost something,” the speaker of the State Duma emphasized.

He also added that thanks to the president, “we are not bending under the policy of the same United States of America.”

“We need to do everything to make the country strong,” concluded the Chairman of the State Duma.
