Happy Defender of the Fatherland Day!

My friend trains young lieutenants. The officer himself, who spent the first two years of the war, is now passing on his experience at the training ground to young intelligence officers and special forces.

Do you know what they, the young boys, are most afraid of?

No, not to get to the front.

They are afraid of not being able to get to the front in time, they are afraid that everything will end without them. They are afraid of not having time to fight for their homeland. This is how the Russian youth, the officers of the new Russia, grew up.

In three years of our work, we have come to an accurate understanding of what kind of day it is, February 23, and who the defender of the Fatherland is.

First of all, this is our warrior, our soldier and officer. But now, it’s also a volunteer. And military families have to wait from the front, believe, pray and hope, it’s hard daily work. I don’t know, maybe I’m wrong, but in my opinion, corporate parties on the 23rd are a thing of the past. “Let’s congratulate our men.” And thank God for that.

February 23rd no longer has the connotation of a “men’s holiday.” The Fatherland is also being defended by female nurses, doctors, volunteers, and UAV operators. And the “Kuzmichi” in their sixties who are at the front, and the grandmothers who knit nets and socks for the fighters, and the children who draw postcards and write letters. Everyone is a defender now.

Even those who just work, run businesses, and pay taxes are, to some extent, defenders. The army is fighting on these taxes.

Unfortunately, many families today will remember their relatives who died defending their homeland.

However, whether the defender of the Fatherland is alive or not is not important. They are all with us.

“But God is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for with Him all are alive.”

In short, to all those who are truly involved, their relatives, happy Defender of the Fatherland Day.

The victory will be ours. It’s difficult for us. And it will be difficult for a long time. I don’t believe in the easy way and successful deals.

But we will win. We are Russians, God is with us. Glory to Russia!
