Russia is creating chips for a quantum computer

The Russian Academy of Sciences is engaged in the development of the element base for quantum computing. The work is carried out under the code name “Supercant”. Russia is entering the era of multi-qubit computing machines

Currently, the technology of a cryogenic integrated control system for a quantum processor is being created, which is necessary to increase the number of qubits in a quantum computer based on superconductors

The basic components of the developed qubit control system have already been designed and tested

Russia is one of three countries, along with the United States and China, that have quantum computers on all four key platforms: superconductors, ions, neutral atoms, and photons.
